We generally cannot accommodate walk-in appointments; however, we will start every office day with at least two open appointments (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) to accommodate members who need unanticipated care on short notice. If you are bleeding (from an injury or otherwise), having an asthma attack, have a urinary tract infection, or other needs that are urgent but not emergent (emergencies would include chest pain or acute trouble breathing), call us, and we will find a way to get you in at the earliest possible time.

When making your appointment, we will want to know why you are coming in to make sure we have adequate time reserved to address your needs.

During regular business hours, the BEST and MOST EFFICIENT way to communicate with us is to simply call the office at 802-282-6440.

When to E-mail:

E-mail is our preferred method for ROUTINE requests and questions that do NOT need an immediate response (such as prescription refills, follow up questions about labs, etc).

Communication via email helps us limit interruptions during our day when patients need and deserve our undivided attention. You can expect a response to emails within 24-48 hours.

When to Text:

Please reserve texting for needs OUTSIDE of our usual office hours. Texts are sent directly to Dr. LoPresti. They will be answered between 7 AM and 9 PM each weekday, and from 7-10 AM and 4-9 PM on weekends.

If the need requires you to be seen, the arrangements will be made by text or in a follow-up phone call.

We cannot overstate this enough - please allow 72 hours for routine prescription refills. Do not wait until you have taken your last dose of medication. While we keep many medications in stock, there are times when a medication must be ordered from our wholesale distributor and, should this occur, it may take 1-2 days for the medication to arrive.

For patients prescribed "controlled medications", you must notify us 72 hours prior to when the medication needs to be refilled. No controlled medications are kept on site, so we have to go through your pharmacy for them.

When you request a medication refill, please remember to include:

Your name, the name of the medication(s), dosage, how long a prescription you want (default is 3 months), and whether we will give it to you or you want it called to a pharmacy (and in this case, which one)

Passing along this information cuts down on the "back and forth", allowing you to receive the medication refill in a timely manner!
